Salvage of Myanmar ship at Surin Island progresses, fuel tanks and air bags start to show results, stern of ship starts to lift

Including the diving operation team from Surin Islands National Park, Similan Islands National Park and Marine National Park Operation Center 2 (Phuket) will proceed with installing 100 additional fuel tanks to increase the lift sufficient to keep the ship afloat. In addition, the National Park has prepared a tugboat to support and tow the capsized ship when it floats above the coral reef to a safe point that has been surveyed.
